Thomas Daniel Schlee
In Nomine for organ, op. 94, No. 4 [world premiere]

Anton Bruckner
Symphony No. 4 (Romantic) in E flat major, WAB 104, "Version 1878/80"
[organ transcription by Thomas Schmögner]

Hansjörg Albrecht, organ

The German master organist Hansjörg Albrecht has just recorded all of Anton Bruckner’s symphonies on major organs in Austria and Germany. The interpretation of the Romantic Symphonies on an organ played by Bruckner himself puts the composer in direct contact with the organist. The premiere of a new organ work with a Bruckner connection by Thomas Daniel Schlee introduces the programme.

Pre-programme: 18:00, Lehár Theatre: Martin Haselböck and Hansjörg Albrecht present the film documentary Anton Bruckner – im Reich der Töne.
