At the final press conference for the European Capital of Culture Bad Ischl Salzkammergut 2024 on 22 November 2024 at the Lehár Theatre in Bad Ischl, Artistic Director Elisabeth Schweeger summed up the European Capital of Culture: It is not a completed project. Rather, it is the prelude to shaping a sustainable future for everyone in the Salzkammergut region.
