Lecturer Sound Design, Project Manager

Studied telecommunications and media at the FH St. Pölten. Between 2008 and 2011 she worked as a freelance production technician in the radio department of ORF Funkhaus Wien. In the course of this, she not only worked on various live and studio productions at ORF Funkhaus, but also at the Musikverein, Konzerthaus and Vienna State Opera as a production technician. From 2010 to 2014 she was a research assistant at the Institute for Creative\Media/Technologies at the University of Applied Sciences St. Pölten, where she dealt with issues of Sound Studies, among others. In 2013 she founded a multimedia agency and since then has been producing for radio drama, feature and film as a sound engineer and sound designer. Between 2014 and 2020, she was an artistic collaborator at the Experimental Radio Professorship at Bauhaus University Weimar. Since 2020 she has been a lecturer for sound design at the FH Joanneum in the degree program Communication, Media, Sound and Interaction Design.

Regional Traditional Instruments Meet Contemporary Electronic Music

This project combines traditional instruments such as the zither, dulcimer and fife with contemporary electronic music. The sound characteristics of traditional and nearly vanished instruments from the region will be paired with new and unusual styles of playing.
