About the project

A concert reading in memory of the life of Alma Rosé – with Corina Harfouch.
The well-known German character actress Corinna Harfourch recited on May 29, 2022 in the Trinkhalle Bad Ischl in a touching and engaging way from the impressive and at the same time very sorrowful life of the young Jewish violinist, conductor, composer and leader of the women’s orchestra in Auschwitz, Alma Rosé. The violinist Latica Honda-Rosenberg and the pianist Hideyo Hara- da, through their interpretation of selected works by Mozart, Beethoven, Bach, Brahms, Janácek, Dvorak, Kreisler, Ernst Bloch, Cesar Frank, Chopin and many other composers, enabled the audience to experience an ups and downs of emotions and thus a lively participation in a very sad, as well as true story.
