About the project

East End Salzkammergut is intended to provide cultural impulses that go beyond that of the classic operation of a cultural center and make a contribution to the strengthening, professionalization, international networking and broader anchoring of the cultural center. In doing so, the Woferlstall is going down new paths and is considering regional development in an innovative and contemporary manner.

The project includes the following points of focus:

An open music workshop intended to support, professionalize and network emerging musicians and young musicians. Zukunftsbühne Hinterberg: An offering for workshops and dialogs between experts and local representatives, a summer school as well as a good practice tour to nine perspective in rural regions beyond usual points of views with the goal of achieving a dialog between both local and European relevant topics and questions. Event Series Myths Power: The power and influence of myths, from the general-societal to the regional aspects, will be placed on stage in multiple ways through this focus. The complexity of myths is intended to be illuminated and reflected upon. Bad Mitterndorfer Frauen*stammtisch (Regular’s Table for Women): An opportunity for women and those persons read as female with the goal of achieving self-empowerment through networking.
