In Bad Ischl, the director of the Bad Ischl Music School, Walter Erla, will conduct the orchestra of the Kurmusik Bad Ischl as they perform works by Giuseppe Verdi and Josef Strauß, amongst others. The conductor Markus Poschner and the Bruckner Orchestra will open the Bruckner Year of 2024 with the artists being celebrated, Anton Bruckner, Bedřich Smetana and Charles Ives. And, in Gmunden, the ORF Radio Symphony Orchestra Vienna will accompany the audience through the modern era into the present in a thoroughly danceable way. An evening full of sounds ushers in a year full of art and culture!
