Good mood for Baukultur

Inspiration for places worth living in

Engaging with construction culture means shaping the space that you live in a responsible manner. The goal of the project Lust auf Baukultur (Good mood for Baukultur) is to take part in making people aware of and enlarging a thematic network in the region.

About the project

In order to do so, the association LandLuft will initiate communication activities and best practice examples to raise awareness in 2023 and in 2024.  One the one hand, these will be addressed to mayors, local councils and administrators – those who can actively influence construction culture over the course of their everyday work, and, on the other, these interested in construction culture will be invited to take part in the process. Over the course of three phases, formats with a hint of countryside air will be offered that make it fun to engage with construction culture and invite participants to become active themselves.

A dialogue and activation phase that goes beyond publicity will begin in the spring of 2023 with Durchs Reden kommen die Leut’ zam, or The People Come Through Speaking To Them. The workshop Lust auf Baukultur, or Good mood for Baukultur in the fall of 2023 will aim at networking and inspiration within a large-scale public framework as a next step. Following this, series of events Baukultur machen Menschen wie Du und ich, or Construction Culture is Done by People Like You and Me, which will take place during the 2024 European Capital of Culture, will create the basis for good ideas, projects and further development.
