Description

Austrian premiere of the theatre play produced by Bodø 2024 and Festival sur le Niger
Directed by Pernille Øie

Based on the text “Rájiid(haga)” by Kathrine Nedrejord and Salimata Togora, “De(con)fining” explores the aspects of humanity and culture that connect people across borders. In this interdisciplinary performance, the forms of expression of dance, theatre, text and music merge and pose the question of how different people can really be.”

Deconfining

Co-creation instead of colonial reservations: The Creative Europe project Deconfining arts, culture and policies in Europe and Africa builds bridges for a sustainable, fair, intercontinental cultural exchange and thus makes a contribution for the realization of the EU strategy for international cultural relationships.
