Inclusive Dance Project with Young People and Children as well as Professional Artists from the Region, from Greece and from France

Young people with and without disabilities from the Salzkammergut region, from Greece and from France work as dancers with professional artists from the three countries to create a production about the resource of water.

Research phases are planned for March and October of 2023. Within them, the necessity, significance and scarcity of water will be investigated and innovation options for a creative performance will be developed. The final rehearsal and performance phase will take place in September of 2024. For this, possible performance locations in public space on the shores of the lake and indoors were found in the fall of 2022 during the first viewing of sites by the organizational team.

The long-term goal is to establish a network of European inclusive collaboration that will ideally exist beyond 2024 and is intended to remain active in a biennial festival of inclusion. After 2024, this festival is intended to be continued by the partners involved and financed and will take place very two years, initially for three days at a time, in the Salzkammergut region, in Greece and then afterward in France.
