In the play, written by the successful duo Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (THE GREATEST SHOWMAN or LA LA LAND) with a libretto by Steven Levenson, was honoured with 6 Tony Awards in 2017. Among others for “Best Musical”. The album recording of the musical won a Grammy in 2018. In 2021, the musical also found its way to the cinema screen. After successful series of plays on Broadway and the West End, this outstanding and special musical can now be experienced in a new production in Gmunden.
