Camo & Krooked (AT) "The cultural capital dances"
Every now and then, an artist emerges in a particular genre and turns it on its head. One particular duo that does this time and time again is the multi-award-winning, Vienna-based duo Camo & Krooked, one of the most important and vital acts in drum & bass of this generation.

Alpine folk music in perfection, between Woodstock of brass music and Oktoberfest. Guest of honour: Leonhard Paul, trombonist of the cult band Mnozil Brass.

21:30 – 22:45
Hosted by Brucknerjahr 2024
Bruckner Discovery feat. Atalante Quartet
The exciting contribution of the Bruckner Year 2024 to the opening of the Capital of Culture: the Linz-based Atalante Quartet "intervenes" with original Bruckner interludes in guitarist Severin Trogbacher's art rock concept.
In co-operation with: Upper Austrian KulturEXPO Anton Bruckner 2024
→ Parish hall

23:00 - 02:00 Uhr
NEW SALT Festival Club Night
A foretaste of the festival in September 2024: NEW SALT festival for sonic exploration and digital art presents a music programme that oscillates between deconstructed hyperpop, leftfield sounds and sophisticated rhythmic worlds: concrete beats by Cid Rim, fragile sounds by Kenji Araki & YBsole, and danceable sounds by Misonica.
23:00 - 23:45 Kenji Araki & YBsole (live AV)
00:00 - 00:45 Cid Rim (Live)
01:00 - 02:00 Misonica (DJ)

Parish church of St Nicholas

23:00 - 00:00
Duo Ruut
Ann-Lisett Rebane (EST) (zither, vocals), Katariina Kivi (EST) (zither, vocals)
Two enchanting voices tell of cows, pastures and forests. Duo Ruut is currently one of the most sought-after ensembles at international world music festivals and also an ambassador for our twin city Tartu.
→ St Nicholas parish church

Protestant church

19:30 - 20:30
Magical sounds and strong tones.
Christine Lechner (AT) (flute), Fritz Altrichter (AT) (accompaniment and organ improvisation)
In the acoustically special Evangelical Church of Bad Ischl, French modernism can be heard, which left its mark far into the 20th century.
→ Protestant Church

21:00 - 22:00
From a Persian garden. Trio Gabbeh
Golnar Shahyar (IRN/AT) (voice), Mona Matbou Riahi (IRN/AT) (clarinet), Manu Mayer (AT) (double bass)
Like the Gabbeh, a type of Persian carpet, the music of the trio of the same name weaves itself surprisingly and with a refined sound like a meandering narrative.
A music of two worlds, between Iran and Vienna.
→ Protestant Church

With punch and drinks, Zappla, Critical Contents, Voltare and Rawtid provide the sound for the start of the evening programme.
→ Café Bar Johann

from 22:00

→ Weinhaus Attwenger, Goldener Ochs und k.u.k. Hofbeisl

ab 23:00 Uhr
