The symposium interventa Hallstatt 2024 is dedicated to construction culture “between tradition and innovation”. Construction culture understands regional space as the sum of its landscapes, architectures and everyday structures. The experts invited to attend the interventa Hallstatt 2024 are regional and international trailblazers in the field of construction culture, both avant-garde and traditional. They are practitioners and theoreticians working the fields of architecture, science, visual art and the performing arts as well as in the field of cuisine. Together, using classical and unconventional formats, they will analyze and research analogies, differences, connections and interfaces of sustainable construction culture and applied practice.
To kick things off, the construction culture focal points of the symposium will be performed theatrically and made visible in the region on two separate days in January. Like an echo, interventa Hallstatt 2024 will react in September with questions and new questions.
