Mexican-Austrian composer, recorder player and sound artist. Her compositions, abstract improvisations, electroacoustic works and performances are characterised by a sonic magic realism – realismo mágico sonoro.
Numerous composition commissions, international collaborations and festival participations.
Castelló studied music in her native Mexico City, Montréal, Amsterdam, Vienna and Linz. She also works as a curator and music teacher and lives in Vienna.
Thomas Grill and his team connect the places of the region by presenting the sounds of water in different forms, using various artistic strategies.
