Carmen Subota, born in 1985 in Wels, Upper Austria, lives in Vienna as a hair stylist and activist. She realizes pop-up salons and transcultural projects. She completed a second degree in geography and international development and she dedicated her master’s thesis to haircutting in a social and societal context. Carmen advises, accompanies and initiates change processes ON and IN people’s minds.
