Sound designer, composer and event organiser from the UK. Joel’s main activity is to create events that focus on the visitors’ sense of self, curiosity and imagination. His award-winning, internationally acclaimed sound project Wet Sounds toured swimming pools around the world, immersing audiences in a surreal art space combining multi-channel underwater sound and performance. His abstract mashup mixes have been playing on the radio for over a decade. He is also the founder of the Destructivist art event Scrapclub. Joel is co-founder and artistic director of the UK charity Liquid Vibrations, which has pioneered the practice of Musical Hydrotherapy. The charity provides training for schools with special needs and develops musical productions for children with special needs.
