(*1983 in Baar, Switzerland; lives and works in Uhwiesen, Switzerland). Jonas Burkhalter has exhibited his work in solo and group exhibitions throughout Switzerland since completing his Master of Fine Arts at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, including at the Lucerne Art Museum, the Museum zu Allerheiligen in Schaffhausen, the Kunsthaus Pasquart in Biel and the Helmhaus in Zurich. His work has been honoured with several prestigious grants, including studio scholarships from the City of Zurich and the Canton of Zug and the Aeschlimann Corti Scholarship. His works are represented in the art collection of the Canton of Zug and in numerous private collections.
