Magdalena Hasibeder, born in Linz. Studied organ, harpsichord and instrumental pedagogy at the Bruckner University Linz, the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna and the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis. Concert activity and ensemble member at festivals and concert series throughout Europe (Venice Baroque Orchestra, Bruckner Orchestra, etc.).
Many prizes, including 1st prize at the Collon Organ International Competition in Herford, winner of several scholarships. Since 2010 assistant to Andrea Marcon at the Basel Theatre. Debut on the podium for “The Fairy Queen” at the Basel Theatre in 2012. Founded the concert series “Diapsalma- Geistliche Konzerte St. Arbogast” in Muttenz. She has been teaching at the Vienna University of Music since 2012 and was instrumental in founding the Institute for Early Music, where she has been deputy director since 2022.
