The Austrian Papermaking Museum preserves history from the time when paper was still produced in this building. The treatment of the site creates the starting point for Victoria Coeln’s work, which moves between analog and digital appropriation of space and seeks chromatic synthesis in augmented reality. In her chromatic interventions developed in situ, she traces the imprints inscribed in spaces, which she seeks to capture in her formal language – hatchings, grids, silhouettes. With her interventions, she transforms public spaces into so-called chromotopes (political light spaces).
