Description

In the fourth part of our transformation process we will deal with questions about the future and invite artists, scientists, philosophers to develop thoughts about the future with us in the now and to play through possible scenarios.

The Austrian Papermaking Museum preserves history from the time when paper was still produced in this building. The treatment of the site creates the starting point for Victoria Coeln’s work, which moves between analog and digital appropriation of space and seeks chromatic synthesis in augmented reality. In her chromatic interventions developed in situ, she traces the imprints inscribed in spaces, which she seeks to capture in her formal language – hatchings, grids, silhouettes. With her interventions, she transforms public spaces into so-called chromotopes (political light spaces).
