Bernhard Mayer

is an architect and co-founder of Mies. Magazine, based in Vienna. Bernhard works at the interface of architecture and urban planning at Raumposition, an office for strategic spatial design. He also teaches at the Vienna University of Technology. After winning a runner-up prize at Europan 15 with the SML working group, he continues to collaborate with various actors in planning, culture and research. His current film project – a collaboration with future. lab, Arbeitsgruppe SML and Mies. Magazin – explores public spaces of transit that are used in extraordinary ways.
