Melanie Gandyra is a freelance illustrator and artist from Hamburg, currently living in Innsbruck. She completed her Bachelor and Master in Illustration at the University of Applied Sciences in Hamburg and specialises in editorial, infographic and informative illustrations. She sees raising awareness of environmental issues, especially climate change and its effects, as the basis of her art. Melanie believes that it is difficult to protect what you don’t understand and is therefore committed to raising awareness of environmental issues through her work and developing creative solutions to ecological challenges.
