Michael John is an Austrian historian,  cultural scientist and curator for exhibitions, internationally known for his research on European and Jewish migration, and on Nazism (like Nazi plunder, forced labour under German rule during World War II, or the Holocaust in Austria). Curator of several exhibitions like the international “Migration, Work, Identity”, projects for Linz09 European Capital of Culture, 2021 together with Herta Neiß scientific director of the Upper Austrian Provincial Exhibition, and again with the same scientific director of the Capital of Cultural-project 2024 “Hotel Austria” in Bad Ischl.
