More about the contributor

Michael Kuttnig was born in Leoben / Styria in 1973, grew up in Lower Austria and now lives as a freelance actor in Linz. After training as a commercial artist, he was called to the theatre and passed his acting exam in 2001.

He was a member of the ensemble at the Haager Theaterkeller, Linzer Kellertheater, bühne04, Tribüne Linz, Stadttheater Bruneck, as well as the Sommertheater Haag, Sommertheater Traun, Theater am Fluss Steyr and Theater mit Weitblick.

His roles range from children’s plays and comedies to classics and contemporaries. He has appeared on stage as Beckmann in “Draussen vor der Tür”, as Estragon in “Warten auf Godot”, as Elling in “Elling”, as Don Camillo in “Don Camillo und Peppone” and as August in “August August, August”.

Michael also appeared in 5 episodes of the ARD television series “Die Landärztin” and in the cinema film “Falkner – Die Liebe eines Lebens”.
