is a curator, journalist and cultural manager living in Vienna. She is a trained radio journalist and holds an MAS in cultural management as well as in women’s studies. Her main interests are in the field of visual arts with a special focus on mediation. Her projects are planned and implemented on this basis. They aim to permanently redefine culture as a concept composed of values, beliefs and norms of a society and to question its impact on society.

Sabine Kienzer curates the exhibition series art & function – among others at Kunsthalle München, kunsthaus muerz, Hofburg Vienna and Leopold Museum as well as the exhibition “Faking the Real” at Kunsthaus Graz. Her current projects are exhibitions on the theme of art and language at kunsthaus muerz, Schloss Puchenau and commercial galleries, among others. She moderates Artists Talks, gives opening speeches and writes texts for catalogs, exhibitions and art magazines. The workshop series Assoziatives Verorten took place at the University of Kassel and the University of Fine Arts and is currently held at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna.
