Theresa Hattinger, born 1989 in Salzburg, works as an artist and designer primarily with language, textiles and signage. She studied graphic design, stage design and illustration mostly at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna. She has shown numerous site-specific works in public space and collaborated on stage designs for experimental urban exploration projects. She also works as a designer in the field of editorial and exhibition design and collectively runs an offspace in Vienna’s 20th district. She has exhibited in Austria, Germany, Cuba and Argentina. Her work is represented in the collections of the Museum of Applied Arts Vienna, the Province of Salzburg and the Austrian National Library.
