Garden of Moving Time

What can we learn from the cycles of life in a school meadow?

The garden as an open learning space: until 2024, a place of learning will be designed in the open spaces around the HLW Bad Ischl by contemporary artists in cooperation with students, experts and initiatives.

About the project

From the kitchen meadow to a green classroom: students of the HLW (Higher School for Economic Professions) Bad Ischl have been involved in the design of a school garden with artists and experts since 2022. Based on the concept of care, the Garden of the Passage of Time is particularly concerned with establishing the relationship to time in social structures, in nature and even in cosmic dimensions. In several workshops, the school’s environment was explored in detail. A previously unused area becomes a paradise of biodiversity.
