St Nicholas is not only regarded as the patron saint of children and young people, he is also credited with the so-called "grain miracle". The "grain miracle" is taken as an opportunity to discuss the topic of distributive justice.

Following the event, the annual St Nicholas concert will take place at 6 pm in the Bad Ischl parish church, which will be held in 2024 under the motto "Migration": Groups from different countries of origin come together under the common umbrella of music and try out how to work well together.

World Salon

The World Salon takes up the idea of the historical salon concept as a social meeting place between the public and private spheres, as a place of exchange on topics such as politics, culture and economics. Representatives of communities and experts discuss historical immigration and emigration.
