Description

CURATING SPACE & SALT LAKE CITIES/ Stops and Stations in Ebensee railway station vacancies

The starting point for CURATING SPACE was the search for potential vacant properties to be used for different genres and events in the visual and performing arts in the Salzkammergut. The research journey generally led to a space-related research trip around the topic of vacancy and will be extended with the renewed opening in January with a contemporary exhibition in Ebensee, which is dedicated to aspects of spatial theory. Accompanied by contemporary positions by Angelika Loderer, Markus Zeber, Prof. Franz Xaver Baier and others.

The Artist in Residency programme of the Capital of Culture Bad Ischl - Salzkammergut 2024 will also be presented here as a prelude to the vacant spaces in the railway stations in the Salzkammergut.
