Description

The fourth part of the NEW SALT  event series takes us to the Toplitzsee and the Gößler Wand in the municipality of Grundlsee. As the surroundings there are unique, this should also be reflected in the programme selected by NEW SALT

Stefan Fraunberger will kick things off by playing a purely tuned electromagnetic dulcimer in the forest clearing on Lake Toplitz to explore sonic incantations, electronic country dances and spectral spatial landscapes. Afterwards, the musicians Sophie Goidinger-Koch, Thomas Frey and Philipp Kienberger will present acoustic interventions at the edge of the forest as part of the Studio Dan ensemble. Concerts by Mira Lu Kovacs and Manu Mayr sweeten the sunset next to the dreamlike backdrop of the Gößler Wand and lead us directly into the audiovisual performances by Billy Roisz and Patrik Lechner. The two Austrian heroes of experimental, digital art will project onto the Gößler wall and make their sound worlds accessible via headphones to create immediacy and intimacy between sound and image.
