Das große Welttheater

“Celebrating” together instead of being “polarized against each other”: Theater ecce stages participatory theater freely adapted from Calderón de la Barca in order to make the diversity within the region visible as well as to promote it.

What values should human beings orient themselves around in a light of a world that is in upheaval? Working with Calderón’s baroque, Christian world view which marked all of Europe and the Salzkammergut region leads in to very current and controversial questions. Workshops with local groups provide a new interpretation for Calderón’s allegories with contemporary biographies.
