More about the contributor

Richard Eigner is an Austrian musician and percussionist known for his versatile work in the field of electro-acoustic music. As the founder of the duo Ritornell and as a solo artist, he has released numerous albums that combine electronic music, field recordings and acoustic instruments. He is responsible for the music and sound design of numerous theatre plays and short films.

Through his intensive involvement with photography and culinary art, he created the cookery book “Schönscharf Thai Food” together with Hubert Maraucher, in which he was responsible for the visual staging of the dishes. His fascination with the delicate preparation of real tea and its sheer inexhaustible variety of flavours and aromas led him to take over the operational management of Bernhard Engelmann’s online tea shop “Green Tea Blue Sky” in September 2022.

During his stay at Alpengarten Bad Aussee, he will explore the plant world in various dimensions. In addition to the acoustic level, he will devote himself in particular to the culinary secrets of the flora and develop new recipes.
