“Fuck Fine Dining. The trio, which formed after the “Gelinaz!” event at the “Mühltalhof”, has already been called the “weirdest cooking collective of all time”. “That’s when we realised how shallow and one-dimensional the discourse about good food and the value of gastronomy often is for us – and how much fun it would be for us to deal with other things than just what’s on the plate,” Felix Schellhorn is quoted as saying in an interview with the daily newspaper Der Standard.

Rachinger, Mraz and Schellhorn have made it their mission to creatively explore the boundaries between art, culinary arts and cooking. According to their manifesto, they stand for a new gastronomic mindset, see improvisation as a core competence, negotiate themes such as breaking with tradition, diversity and craftsmanship with their actions and combine cooking events with artistic performances and socio-political themes.
