As part of the “Myth-Power” series of Capital of Culture activities in the Woferlstall, the “Salzkammergut” itself will be the subject of a public dialogue on this evening. It is about those stories, myths, images and clichés
that we associate with the Salzkammergut landscape, its magic and its history – right up to current tourism marketing images.
The historian Christian Dirninger and the literary journalist and Salzkammergut expert Anton Thuswaldner provide insights into history and literature and the associated stories and images about the region. Musician Toni Burger brings the myth of the Salzkammergut to life.
