After some artistic foreshadowing in the region, the fullness of this year’s words, faces and sounds will once again be heard on this day in the Papiermacher Museum Laakirchen. Like at a fair, there are musical acts, discursive moments, presentations, performances and good food. We offer a stage for the exciting contributions of artists and residents of the Salzkammergut to the European Capital of Culture and a podium for the young artists of the region, for associations and initiatives that have creatively dealt with the jubilee Anton Bruckner. Once again, the two major cultural events span a colorful spectrum to celebrate the power of culture and community.
Culture always means daring to begin. Therefore, the European Capital of Culture Bad Ischl Salzkammergut 2024 and all 23 municipalities want to venture out together with the KulturEXPO Anton Bruckner 2024 towards the end of this year. This departure should be a jump into a new consciousness, to dare to start again and again.
