Reinhard Lanner, tourism marketing expert from Salzburger Land and Pamela Binder, Managing Director of the Ausseerland-Salzkammergut Tourism Association) will present their thoughts and ideas for the future development of rural tourism regions. In the subsequent dialogue, Franz Steinegger, Mayor of Grundlsee and initiator of the landscape conservation fund, and Anna Scheffer (tourism trainer, born in Altenmarkt and now living in Bad Mitterndorf) will be asked about their perspectives and experiences on the topic of the evening – with the involvement of the interested audience.

The “Zukunftsbühne Hinterberg” focuses on “New perspectives for rural regions beyond the mainstream” as the centrepiece of the Capital of Culture activities of the E.I.K.E.-Forum – Woferlstall. It searches for traces of future potential and innovative approaches in the region – with a view to general and European developments: With a public dialogue series, a summer school in cooperation with the University of Salzburg as well as a visit rally and excursion to forward-looking initiatives.
